Wow! This guy has one of the best voices I’ve ever heard in my entire life. I don’t even keep up with these shows, but I sincerely hope Jonathan Antoine sweeps this season. Charlotte Jaconelli’s voice does compliment Jonathan’s, but I think it’s obvious who the real star is here. Regardless, the duo won over all four judges (even Simon)! Best of luck to both of them.

Here are the top three reasons you should be watching Breaking Bad:

• Bryan Cranston plays the leading role of Walter White, the high school teacher cooking meth with a former student. Firstly, Bryan Cranston was the kickass dad from Malcolm in the Middle, so you know he’s awesome already. Secondly, he’s won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for three consecutive years. That’s right, he’s that damn good.
• Based on the reviews at Metacritic, the critics have rated the show higher and higher every season. The latest season (season 4) was rated 96/100 by the critics and is currently the highest rated returning series on Metacritic. Breaking Bad also outscores all new television programs being produced as well, making it the highest critically rated television series on television today. Reviewing the highest rated seasons of all time, the only television season to outscore Breaking Bad was season 4 of The Wire, which nudged past Breaking Bad with a score of 98/100, but is not a currently televised show.
• Breaking Bad is one of the most beautifully shot and edited shows on television. Over the last few years it has been nominated for Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing numerous times and won Emmy Awards for Outstanding Cinematography twice. You can really tell how much time and effort they put into making each episode and it really does wonders for the show.

This is a really incredible video that has compiled snapshots of Earth from space into a timelapse. The photographs were taken with a low-light camera, so the lighting in the pictures is truly fantastic. The pictures were taken by the crew of expedition 28 & 29 onboard the International Space Station from August to October in 2011.

Oh, the 90′s. So many great albums and hit singles were produced in the 90′s and thinking about them just makes me realize how horrible a lot of the radio tunes are these days. Because I love 90′s music (and let’s face it, who doesn’t?), I thought I’d compile a list of pop-rock and alternative music from the 90′s that was absolutely awesome.

I will point out that I’m not going to list every band you listened to in the 90′s that was good. I’m even going to make some notable exceptions by leaving out Nirvana and Pearl Jam. Yes, yes, I know there were a lot of great grunge and post-grunge bands from the 90′s, and I also know there were some bands that were so good that their sound defied all genres and they must now be worshiped as music gods. But that’s NOT what I’m talking about here. What I really miss is the carefree alternative and pop-rock bands that played the type of songs that just made you want to bob your head and sing along. Even so, I went ahead and threw in a couple of other old favorites as well.
